Scalable invests further in resource to help expand its holistic solution offerings
Scalable Communications PLC has increased its management, sales and marketing team with the addition of three experienced personnel. All three have a wealth of experience in the communications industry which will be used to further expand Scalable’s credibility in delivering holistic solutions to its customers.
Mark Davenport joins the management team in the role of Director of Business Development. Using experience gained in both commercial and technical senior roles Mark’s goal is to assist in the progression of the business’s commercial success whilst keeping Scalable at the forefront of technology innovations. To achieve this Mark will focus on both the complementary expansion of the Scalable portfolio and sponsorship of strategic accounts. Before joining Scalable Mark worked at ATC for four and a half years, where he was responsible for creating and heading up the Large Enterprise Sales Teams, technical consultancy and bid management. Mark was successful in securing contracts with clients such as De La Rue, Somerfield, Carillion and Guardian Newspaper Groups on both a national and global basis He was instrumental in driving ATC from being newly accredited to one of the largest Mitel Partners in Europe. Prior to ATC he worked at 3Com for five years, as well as a further two years as Sales Director of one of the largest 3Com Gold Partners.
Jennifer Farrant also joins the management team as the Marketing Manager for Scalable. Jennifer joins from another Mitel partner – Telinet, where she worked for three years and won the Mitel Award for the Best Marketing Campaign in EMEA, 2007, and was responsible for the company winning the National Business Awards, Small to Medium Business of the year, 2006, South East Region. Prior to joining Telinet Jennifer had worked for 5 years in marketing & PR agencies addressing the technology sector, engaging with such clients as IBM and Blackberry.
Peter Whitehouse joins the sales team as a Senior Sales Consultant. Peter joins the company from ATC where he was recognised on numerous occasions for his revenue achievements and client liaison skills. Peter was responsible for key wins and clients such as Gloucester PCT, United Co-Op, Ashford & St Peter’s NHS Trust and Queen Mary’s University of London. Prior to that Peter worked at Azzurri, where he was responsible for securing and developing key accounts such as the Mirror Group and Northcliffe Newspapers.
